A Day in the Life of an Press Brake Operator:

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.

Set up and operate CNC fabricating machines such as one of multiple types of press brakes (i.e. Cincinnati, Trumf, LVD, & PullMax)
Read and understand blueprints, job cards and other job directions to determine sequence of bending processes
Support the operation focusing on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and inventory.
Comply with all safety regulations and procedures
Be responsible for your own quality control.
Develop working relationships with other teammates and participate in cross-functional teams.
Be on time every day for your shift

What You Need:

Requires education generally equivalent to a high school diploma
Prior Brake Press Experience with Setup and Operation preferred
Must have the ability to read and understand blueprints and other manufacturing instructions
Requires good oral and written communication skills in order to interact with employees in English
Motivated and highly organized team player with a positive attitude
Previous manufacturing experience required
Read a ruler or tape measure, use calipers and protractors
Basic math skills required

Press Brake Operator

he Responsibilities of a Maintenance Technician:

Performing work on the building and equipment including machine repairs, welding, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work
Trouble shooting mechanical and electrical breakdowns
Drive company trucks, forklifts and mini cart;
Perform maintenance job orders as assigned;
Schedule and perform preventative maintenance;
Order repair parts and services utilizing ERP system;
Utilize internet-based CMMS to complete work orders and preventative maintenance;
Assist in on-the-job training of employees in lower classifications;
Basic MS Office computer skills
Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product
Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of department

Position Qualifications:

Two-year diploma in Industrial Maintenance Mechanic/Technician and two years' experience as a General/Machine Repairer or Maintenance Technician; or six years' experience as a Machine Repairer/Technician as applied to industrial equipment and processes.
Ability to work at 10-40 foot heights;
Ability to obtain a PIV license.
Ability to frequently stand and walk.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Ability to read & interpret blueprints.

Maintenance Technician - 1st shift

A Day in the Life of an Industrial Sewer I:
Perform sewing jobs operating a sewing machine.
Perform finishing work, such as sewing insides/outsides, flanges, collars, zippers, wires, rods, guides, and tie strips.
Utilize hand tools such as pliers, rulers, and staplers.
Read and understand directions, including job cards and blueprints set-up form and material needed to create bellow.
Inspect finished parts for quality of sewing, part to print, & order quantity.
Verify accuracy of layout and stiffeners are to specifications.
Sew in PVC/Nylatron/Mylar
Perform operator preventative maintenance on sewing machines.
All other duties as assigned.

What You Need:

A high school diploma or equivalent.
To be able to communicate effectively in English.
Basic math skills are required
To be able to read a ruler or tape measure.
To be able to frequently stand and walk.
To be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
To be at least 18 years old.
To be able to read blueprints is preferred.

Industrial Sewer 1st shift

Wenthe-Davidson Engineering

Set-up and fabrication of various punch, rolling and welding machines to meet productivity and quality standards. Perform visual inspections of frame welds, surface condition and ring closure. Ability to bend and lift up to 20 pounds (Level 1) or up to 55 pounds.

Machine Operator/General Labor (1st or 2nd shift)
