FlexRide Milwaukee
The Story of FlexRide Milwaukee
FlexRide Milwaukee was launched in 2022 as a pilot initiative of University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, Southeast Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission and MobiliSE, a non profit transportation advocacy organization. After the initial pilot phase, MobiliSE took on sole oversight of the service in 2023, adding new service zones, establishing a permanent fleet and expanding service hours. Since its launch, FlexRide has provided nearly 200,000 rides to work to 5,000 individual riders, accessing over 200 job locations. Day to day operations of FlexRide Milwaukee are provided by Via Transportation Inc.
